Set it Free with FST!FST is an innovative stretch therapy originally designed for professional athletes.
Unlike massage or other stretching techniques, FST starts at the joint capsule and focuses on planes of tissue and lines of muscles and fascia, not just individual muscles. |

"Thank you for the stretch it worked great with the adjustment. I feel with both your new therapy and adjustments the pain will go away and I will be able to go forward.I don't want to hurt anymore. " ~ Dan N.
What to ExpectFor FST sessions, you will remain clothed. Please wear loose, comfortable clothes you can move freely in. Since our office has AC and you will be inactive, we recommend long pants (sweats, tights, yoga pants), socks, and no tank tops (a t-shirt is fine). If you tend to run cold, consider wearing a lightweight, long-sleeved shirt.
Your session will start with a range of motion and postural assessments and review of your health history. One of our goals is to provide systemic relaxation, so the treatment room will have low light and relaxing music will be playing. We recommend that new clients start with a 60 min FST session. (FST was developed by Ann and Chris Frederick of the Stretch to Win Institute.) |

FST + MassageWe often integrate some massage into our FST sessions. It is typically focused work to help work on trouble spots but varies from client to client.
Many clients also find alternating FST and massage sessions to be very beneficial. |
How Often Should I Get Stretched? You'll see improvement in your flexibility and posture with just 1 session, but clients who get stretched regularly see larger and longer lasting gains.
For a Flexibility Makeover, we recommend you get stretched once a week for 4-6 weeks and then taper back to once every other week, and eventually move to a maintenance schedule. |
