We appreciate that you chose our business for your bodywork session. It is our intention to provide top notch care and service. Below are some guidelines and policies in order to provide you an optimum session.

Cancellation / Reschedule Policy

Recognizing that we set aside the scheduled time just for you, have other clients to consider and have to maintain a smoothly running business, we find it necessary to charge for last-minute cancellations and appointment changes.

For individual services in our office, we require ​24 hour notice of cancellation or reschedule via phone or email.

Clients that cancel or reschedule an in-office appointment less then 24 hours in advance or fail to attend a scheduled appointment shall be charged a cancellation fee:
12-24 hrs notice = $25
less than 12 hrs = cost of service

In the event that a gift certificate was going to be used for an appointment, that certificate shall be forfeited.
 
Appointments that are changed on the day of the scheduled appointment shall be accommodated as much as possible. If another appointment time is unavailable, the cancellation policy fees shall apply.

Groups of 3 or more and Offsite Services, such as chair massage, require 72 hours cancellation notice.

Late Arrivals

We understand that traffic, work, and other delays occur.  It helps a great deal if you call and let us know if you are running late. We will do our best to accommodate you.  

We generally can work within a 5 minute delay.  However, if time runs over 5  minutes or more, we will likely have to shorten your session by that amount of time. Full price will be charged for the actual scheduled time.

​In return, we will make sure we are on time.  If for some reason we are not, we will give you the time back or adjust the price of the session.

Arrival at Office

Please arrive at least 5 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment. You can call us, or knock when you arrive and you will be greeted at the front door. We may ask you to wait in your car until your room is completely disinfected and your therapist is ready.

​Giving yourself a little bit of extra time also allows your body and mind to start to transition from an active busy mode, into a more relaxed receiving mode, thereby enhancing your massage experience.  
 
Our policy is that the length of your appointment is the amount of hands-on time you will receive.  If you are seeing us for a specific pain complaint or sports performance issue, we will perform a detailed assessment to design the most effective treatment plan for you.  Consequently, your first hands-on session may be decreased slightly to accommodate this assessment.

Illness and Winter Weather

We understand emergencies and illnesses do occur.   Please cancel if you are ill within 24 hours of your appointment (and especially if you have a fever, have been in the hospital, or have been vomiting or had diarrhea)  There will be no charge for these types of cancellations.
 
If you cannot safely make it to your appointment due to severe weather, please call and let us know.  No cancellation fee will apply for reschedules due to inclement weather if you provide at least 2 hours notice so that you can save your therapist a trip to the office or allow them to go home early.
